Summer is about to officially begin! I'm super excited, not only for the warmer weather, but for all the amazing fruits and veggies that come out this time of year! There is one fruit i'm am especially excited about though...
Not only does watermelon taste delicious, but it also has many beauty benefits! Watermelon is primarily made of water (about 92%), and as we all know water is essential for healthy and glowing skin! Watermelon has high levels of vitamin C and antioxidants, this helps prevent skin aging (bye-bye wrinkles). Vitamin C is very important for radiant skin, have you ever tried a vitamin C facial oil? If not, try this one!
Watermelon contains a relatively high amount of Vitamin A, Vitamin A is responsible for creating Retinol (a.k.a. the stuff in all of your Retinol anti aging skin creams!). So get yourself a watermelon and start eating it ASAP, your skin and body will be so thankful!

December was a rough month for my skin.
I looked tired, my skin was dry, and I suffered from a MAJOR breakout (a reaction from a beauty product I was testing....yikes!).
Something needed to change.
So I watched a few youtube videos where girls drank 8 cups of water (64 ounces) to see the effects of water on their skin.
After watching the videos I wanted to try this challenge myself.
So I filled up my cup and began chugging haha!
I love fall. The weather (although this year it's abnormally hot), pumpkins, Halloween, warm toned eye shadows... it all just makes me feel happier!
But there is one thing I hate about fall. Every time I go to the grocery store I am reminded that the fresh fruit of the summer is slowly disappearing :(
Before we know it, it will be winter and pint of fresh blueberries will cost $10 (and I wish I was being dramatic!).
Although the summer's fruits and veggies are leaving, there are still some amazing hair, nail, and skin loving beauty superfoods that are now in season!
So which one is featured this month???
An apple a day can keep a doctor away...
and maybe even a dermatologist or a plastic surgeon too.
Since most apples ripen during the fall months, there are this month's featured beauty superfood. Over the past few weeks, I've done a lot of research about apples and their skin and hair benefits so I am super excited to share with you what I have learned!
Below are some of the main nutrients in apples that make apples so skin, nail, and hair loving!
A few weeks ago my family and I went on a little vacay to one of my favorite cities....Nashville, Tennessee
Home to Country Music
and Barbeque...lots of barbeque.
August is a weird month for fruits and veggies, it's basically the transition month between July (a.k.a fruit heaven) and September (the beginning of fall harvesting), therfore there isn't too many new fruits and veggies coming out :(
but there is one which has amazing beauty and health benefits....
Summer is the perfect time of year to eat as many fruits and veggies as possible.
I believe good nutrition can make your skin clear, your hair shiny and soft, and give you an overall glowing, youthful appearance.
But the question is what foods give you amazing hair, skin, and nail benefits? I want to focus every month on one plant based food (that is in season) which makes you feel and look beautiful! So what is July's beauty superfood?
Finding Vegan snacks other than fruits and veggies that are already prepared can be challenging! I wanted to make snacking easier by sharing my favorites with you!
4th of July is near.
As many people know Americans are really patriotic, especially on July 4th. From barbeques, picnics, fireworks, going to the beach, the list goes on and on.
This smoothie taste like a creamy milkshake. But don’t worry this smoothie is dairy free, gluten free, vegan, and it has no added sugars or colors. This is one of the most fun and patriotic snacks or desserts for both kids and adults!
