We talk a lot about skincare on this blog. From beauty super foods, to drinking 54 ounces of water a day for a week. I seriously can not stress enough how important skin care is!
Many of us struggle with our skin. Especially during acne breakouts. We end up going through countless products to see what works and what doesn't.
Ahhh I'm frustrated just thinking about it.
Luckily, I believe I found a solution to your pesky breakouts.
For years I've heard about how wonderful the beauty blender is. Youtubers, bloggers, influencers, famous makeup artists all raved about it.
But I refused to buy it.
I felt like it was wayyyy over priced, It's about $20 for the original sponge (which they recommend you to throw away after 3 months, for sanitary reasons).
Then a few days ago I broke down and bought it... I think my years of curiousity got the best of me.
When I got home from Sephora I immediately ripped open the container and found this teenie tiny hot pink sponge...I thought to myself "you have to be kidding me, this is worth $20?!". I submerged the blender in water and it grew about twice the size (thankfully).
Everytime I take a sip of water, eat something, or touch my lips, my lipcolor goes everywhere, and I'm tired of it.
So I decided to try out Rimmel London's Provocalips a "16 hour, kiss proof, and non transferable" lip colour and share my experience with you guys!
It cost around $7, for both the lip color (1st layer) and the top coat (2nd layer). There are 15 different shades to choose from I got the shade "just teasing".
$20 for .37 ounces, that's what I spent at least every month on a tiny tube of Urban Decay's Eye shadow Primer. Yikes!
I had to find a cheaper alternative, so for three months I've been on a mission to find a more affordable yet still a high quality primer, and I think I have finally found it!
*drum roll please*
This summer I've reconnected my love for false lashes...they make my makeup routine easier, less time consuming, less messy, just make everyone look extra glam...and who doesn't want that?!
Of course there is a downside...
false lashes can be very expensive :(
Therefore, I only wear falsies on special occasions and on really hot days (I don't want melted mascara!)
I recently bought a pair of tarte lashes in the style "little black dress" and I wanted to share my experience here.
I am fortunate, I naturally have long healthy nails. I religiously paint them every Sunday, no matter what. I normally reserve time on Sunday to sit down and paint my nails, it’s fun to me! But this past week, my Sunday was FULL of things to do that I just didn’t have enough time to paint my nails. Luckily I had recently bought these imPress nails to keep in my nail drawer just incase I ever forgot to paint my nails or they had to look extra special for an event.
