We all know that Acne is a common thing, especially for teenagers.
Some people are blessed with naturally beautiful and glowing skin, but let's be honest most of us are not :(
acne is not always caused by our genes or our skincare routine, you have to keep in mind that the environment and toxins that we are exposed to daily, take a major toll on our skin!
Think about all the pollution in the air or all of those chemicals in your beauty/grooming routines...yuck!
I'm here to help you out with all your beauty problems, from the occasional spot to the full on breakout! These tips should work wonders for your skin, so let's start with tip #1 ...
You are probably rolling your eyes right now, because you've heard this a million times before. But you're gonna read it again, water intake is so important for our bodies and our skin health. If you don't believe me do an experiment, stay completely hydrated for 3 days and look at the difference in your skin! I bet you'll be amazed.
Grab a cup of water and continue reading...there's a reason why I put this tip first, haha :)
wash your makeup brushes
If you don't wash your brushes often (and I mean often) chances are they are filled with bacteria and facial oils...yuck! So give your makeup brushes a good bath at least every week or even more often!
I suggest using an antibacterial hand soap and hot water.
limit touching your face
Honestly our hands are gross.
'They are covered in bacteria, germs, and who knows what else, haha!
Clean your towels and your sheets...A LOT
Fabric is a breeding ground for bacteria seriously wash your towels, pillowcases, washcloths, clothes, bras...basically whatever else you wear and use daily. I have several sets of pillowcases so I can just switch them out every other night...
quick beauty tip try using silk pillow cases for healthier hair and skin!
use paper towels instead fabric towels to dry your face
MIght sound weird but even though you wash your towels, they still aren't 100% clean. If you really struggle with acne or want to prevent it as much as possible, use a paper towel or tissue after cleansing your face. Paper towels are known to hold less bacteria and germs than your typical bath towel.
clean your phone
Let's face it your phone, laptop, tablet, etc. is really gross. Actually disgusting. Wipe it down daily or more often to limit the transfer of acne causing germs and oils to your face and prevent breakouts!
I hope this helps you in the fight against acne, this is only Part One, I didn't want to overwhelm anyone by having a bunch of tips at once, haha! Please subscribe to find out when part 2 comes out! Thank you so much for reading, and I hope you have a great (acne free) day!
