I used to have long hair...like really long hair...like really really really long hair...
Then I decided to chop it off. Then I decided to grow it out again, and then chop it again, and the never ending hair cycle continues.
This week I thought I'd share with you my top tips for getting longer and healthier locks :)
I use Coconut Oil to clean my mouth and whiten my teeth...
Right now you are probably thinking about leaving this page, because you are probably assuming that I'm a nature loving, tree hugging, hippie... but I'm not... not yet at least :D
(and yes in case you were wondering, I still brush my teeth everyday haha!)
My Aunt introduced me to oil pulling about 6 months ago, and at the time I was so confused and sorta intimidated by the entire process. Even after reading countless websites, I never found a great step by step guide. Therefore I wanted to write this post for you all!
So please enjoy my (non hippie) easy to follow guide of oil pulling.
So recently my skin and I have not been getting along :(
It always fascinates me how many different ways people chose to get big lips. From Injections, suction cupping, to using plumping lip gloss....the list goes on and on. Recently I discovered my favorite way to get plumper lips using a few natural ingredients found in my kitchen.
2 teaspoons of Coconut Sugar- Personally I like the texture of coconut sugar, it's coarse but not too coarse. You can use any sugar you have on hand! Sugar acts as an exfoliant, which makes your lips grow.
1 teaspoon of cinnamon- If I am honest the Cinnamon Spice alone would make your lips big, but the sugar with the cinnamon is a miracle!
Stir the sugar and cinnamon til combined together before adding in the final ingredient(s)
1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil- I am 99% sure that you know the beauty community's obsession with coconut oil. The coconut oil not only binds the mixture together, it also moisturizes!
Whip the Oil, cinnamon, and the sugar together with a fork until combined! But don't overbeat because it might change the consistency of the coconut oil... It should seem almost frosting like. You can add more sugar of a different texture (like white or turbinado) if you would like a sweeter taste or a more coarse exfoliation
This batch made 2 of these little plastic containers I found at the Dollar Store (score!). I think this would be a really cute gift for others especially if you added a bow on it!
Thank You all for reading! Hope this helps you get those gorgeous plump and big lips! Please subscribe to my email list for beauty updates and blog post alerts! Enjoy!
