So recently my skin and I have not been getting along :(
I get patches on my skin that are extremely sensitive, red, dry, cracked...
and oh yeah...
I've gone to a few dermatologists and unfortunately, they aren't quite sure what it is. Some suspect eczema or psoriasis, some think it might be an allergic reaction to a product I wear, and others... well they have absolutely no idea haha!
The patches mostly come on during the cooler months and occasionally in the spring,
but for some reason a patch/irritation appeared right around my eyebrow/eye
in late July. *eyeroll*
I usually use prescribed topical gels (along with natural oils) to attempt to soothe the patches, but this time I wanted to try it the natural way, using Manuka Honey.
After reading many articles about manuka honey and skin benefits, I decided it was time to try it out.

So I bought this bottle of manuka honey. Then lathered my eyelids, before I went to bed.
I waited for 15 mins for it to dry, then I went to sleep.
In the morning my skin around my eye looked AMAZING.
It didn't completely heal the patch, but it definitely moisturized it to the point where I could easily cover it up with makeup.
After only 4 nights of manuka honey my eyelids looked better than they ever have...seriously there wasn't even one crease on my eyelid.
I decided to test manuka honey on a blemish, and in the morning my little spot was clear.
With my amazing results, I wanted to share it with you all.
Trust me it works.
thanks for reading and I hope you have a beautiful (and patch free) day,
