happy women's month!
Since March is dedicated to women, I thought I"d share with you five amazing women who have inspired, influenced, and impacted my life in many ways.
Audra is a fitness coach, a Youtuber, an Author...and a million other amazing things! Since discovering her Youtube channel she has completely changed my life. She encouraged me to switch to a plant based diet, live a balanced life, and most importantly she has helped me learn to love myself. Definitely recommend you to check out her Youtube channel, her books, her instagram (@thisgirlaudra), your life will be changed!
Yep, Kim Kardashian. As unpopular as it may sound, Kim Kardashian inspires me to grow my career and brand everyday. This woman has built herself an EMPIRE. Not only is she a reality star, a mom, a fashion (and beauty) icon, a huge social media influencer (ummmm 108 MILLION followers on Instagram?!) she is also an AMAZING business woman. She has made brands KKW Beauty, KKW fragrance, and Kid's Supply into successful businesses. NOt to mention her family's beyond successful TV show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians...and she is still expanding in her career... #GIRLBOSS
Miley Cyrus has definitely gone through many phases of her life...but don't we all? From the "sweet Disney girl" to the "wild child" and now to the political and animal advocate. I admire her for always being herself, even in the public eye. Whether you agree or disagree with her beliefs she is changing the world. She has even created her own non profit foundation, TheHappy Hippie Foundation, which rallys young people to fight injustice facing homeless youth, LGBTQ youth, and other vulnerable populations.
Gigi is a transgender woman, who shared her ENTIRE transformation journey on her YouTube channel. She even made her own documentary, This is Everything. I'll admit she's a bit flashy, but I admire how brave and honest she is. No matter how much criticism and hate she receives online (and in real life), she continues to openly share her stories and her life. She's an excellent role model for both the LGBTQ+ community and for others, like myself, who are unaware of the challenges that transgender people can face. For example, she was once Detained in Dubai, because she was transgender....umm crazy. (Not to mention she is the queen of glam hair and makeup, just look at her instagram @gigigorgeous)
Amy on the Bobby Bones Show
In case you aren't familiar with Amy, she is a co-host on the nationally syndicated country radio show, The Bobby Bones Show. She's basically the sweetest woman ever. She's compassionate, caring, loving, funny...the list goes on and on. After a 5 year adoption journey, she recently brought home 2 children from an orphanage in Haiti. Despite having her voice and stories heard by millions, she openly shares her struggles of adoption, motherhood, and life's crazy challenges. She has helped create charitable clothing lines and movements, such as#pimpinjoy and espwa. Amy is an excellent role model for all women, and I know I would not be the same person I am today without her. Whenever you get a chance check outThe Shop Forward, her blog, her instagram, or listen to the Bobby Bones Show, I promise her stories will inspire you!
